„Nothing Could Be Better“ – Former Canadian MP on Shen Yun in Ottawa, Canada

David Kilgour is a retired Canadian Secretary of State, MP and coauthor of “Bloody Harvest,” a book which provides evidence of large-scale organ-harvesting from Falun Gong prisoners of conscience in mainland China.

Mr. Kilgour saw Shen Yun for the fourth time in Ottawa, Canada over the weekend.

[David Kilgour, Retired Canadian MP]:
“Nothing could be better. I think it’s phenomenal and I had high expectations when I came but I have been enormously pleased by what I saw. I’m seeing that everyone else had the same reaction tonight.”

[Audience Member]:
“It’s a fantastic show. Beautiful color, marvelous movement… I have been at many performances but this one tops them all.”

Mr. Kilgour hopes Shen Yun can go to China.

[David Kilgour, Retired Canadian MP]:
“Someday we/you will have to take this show to China. And show the people of China what the culture of China is, what the singing and dancing of the real China is. I can hardly wait for when that day comes and I am sure it’s going to come soon.”

A Chinese audience member shared the same wish.

„I come to Shen Yun every year. This is the fourth time I have come. The Shen Yun show displays very orthodox traditional Chinese culture. People from the Mainland have never seen such authentic traditional Chinese culture in China. I hope Shen Yun’s performances can continue to expand, and eventually the day will come when they are able to perform in China. I think the people of mainland China would really like that.“
