„A Perfect Performance“ – Chinese Student Sees Shen Yun in Lyon

Ms. Chen just arrived in France to study from Mainland China. She saw Shen Yun in Lyon and really enjoyed the show.

[Ms. Chen, Chinese Student]:
“In China, I have never seen such a perfect performance. It reflects some of the real traditional Chinese culture. The things we see on China’s national television and these ancient things are absolutely not along the same lines. This show tonight gave me a particular feeling, I’m stunned. It’s very rare to see such a pure performance.”

[Ms. Chen, Chinese Student]:
“This performance spreads Chinese culture. It will let more people understand what our nationality is like, to allow this culture to flourish.”

[Ms. Chen, Chinese Student]:
“Chinese people, since ancient times, paid attention to the cultivation of the heart. Then people can understand each other, and people can live in harmony. This show can really make people feel China’s ancient past, the people revered, the deities held in their hearts, and how people’s lives were all very virtuous.”

[Ms. Chen, Chinese Student]:
“I really think this is a perfect performance, it gives people a kind of purification of the heart. It leads people to believe that there really is beauty. When there’s belief in the hearts, it can make their hearts become more pure.”
